Jonathan Starr (he/him) is an English dance artist based in Stockholm.
After receiving his BA (hons) and MA in contemporary dance from London Contemporary Dance school in 2019, he relocated to Sweden, working at Norrdans under the artistic director Martin Forsberg. Jonathan is a multidisciplinary performance artist with a primary focus on movement. In addition to his movement practices, he composes sound for both his own projects and other artists. Recently, he created compositions for the dance works Lighthouse by Courtney Mazeika and Peter Farrow, as well as Wailing by Sigrid Stigsdatter Mathiassen.
